INT. CONTROL ROOM — THE WHITEBOARD

The brain, the gauge at FULL, three lines in black marker.

THE INVERSION. Same layout, same three lines, same instrument, every value reversed. The gauge needle moving from EMPTY to FULL says the fuel was always there without a word.

THE NEW THEORY. Coach Brain's answer, and THE INVERSION IS THE POINT: same layout, same three lines, same gauge as shot 10, with every value reversed. Blackboard and white chalk becomes whiteboard and black marker. Measured, mean luminance 135 against 226. THE GAUGE CARRIES THE ARGUMENT: the same instrument in both frames with the needle moved from EMPTY to FULL says the fuel was always there without a word being spoken. Cut one to the other and the audience understands before they have read the sentences. The lower right is left empty in both, because the marker is still going while he talks.

The DNA of this frame

Phase. Phase 11 of 15, THE TWO THEORIES, ON THE BOARD.

Hero’s journey. THE ORDEAL, which in this film is comprehension. Nothing is fought.

Element. LIGHT, which is what lets you see, as against GLOW, which burns and does not last.

The music, for Suno
Not written yet. Every shot needs two: the scene bed it sits in, and this shot’s own arrangement of it. The instruments come from the element in the DNA above.
What it means, and what it does
Not written yet. This frame needs its meaning set down: where it sits in the film, what it carries, how it moves the story on, and what it is doing to the audience. Ask before animating it rather than guessing from the picture.
