POINT OF VIEW. We are standing in the doorway looking in, framed by the jamb on both sides and the top, and nothing of the viewer is visible: this is his eyes, per MEMORY 28g. Coach Brain has NOT turned round. He is small, absorbed, one hand on the console, completely unbothered that somebody has arrived, and that indifference is what makes him worth being impressed by. The second open door beyond him echoes the corridor without saying anything.

MANAN'S SIDE OF THE ROOM, AND IT IS A PLATE. Same control room as 6.3 from a new angle: console away on the left, screens above it, the closed riveted door on the right. THE WHOLE RIGHT HALF IS OPEN FLAGSTONE WITH NOTHING ON IT, because that is where Manan is keyed in from the grey backdrop footage, walking in through that door. He is never drawn. The chair is gone because Coach Brain is not in this shot yet: Manan arrives, asks what happened, and the answer comes after. SUPERSEDED 3.9.2026.
